Electrical Services Coordinator (Mexico)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Service Coordinator to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who has worked in the office of an electrical contractor and understands the electrical service industry.
You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service, qualifying incoming service requests, assisting with estimates, following up on proposals, coordinating directly with the owner, and ensuring jobs move smoothly from the initial phone call through completion.
This is not a call center position. We are looking for someone who understands the electrical trade and can confidently communicate with customers and support daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and Microsoft Teams messages.
- Qualify electrical service requests by asking the appropriate questions.
- Coordinate schedules directly with the owner.
- Prepare estimates and proposals based on the owner's direction.
- Follow up on pending estimates to help convert them into booked jobs.
- Maintain customer information and work orders in mHelpDesk.
- Create and update invoices, estimates, and job documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
- Maintain organized documentation using Microsoft Office.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the project.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working for an electrical contractor or electrical service company.
- Experience with customer service, estimating, service coordination, inside sales, or office administration.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using mHelpDesk.
- Experience using field service management software.
- Experience preparing electrical estimates or assisting with bids.
- Ability to read electrical plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with electrical terminology and common materials.
Education
Preferred but not required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
Equivalent electrical industry experience will be considered in place of a degree.
